I fell in love with the Parliament buildings the first time I saw them.  As my fiance and I walked around the main building in the biting cold, there was little that could distract me from the beauty of Parliament Hill in the dead of winter.  The snow blanketing the ground, the chilling wind chapping my cheeks and the sound of the river flowing behind the hill all added to the beauty for me.  Even the sounds of traffic and life in the city added to the ambiance and connection I felt.
