Another amazing picture from my trip. This is of the Centennial flame in Ottawa on Parliament Hill. I loved the buildings and the entire feel of the city… It was the first time I’d ever been there but it felt almost like I was coming home… for the first time.

Day 21: Sunset

This is a photograph I took while in Canada for the new year. While I was there, I met my fiance’s family and he took me to see some of his favorite places. This was a trail area called Jack Pine Trail that was amazing and beautiful. I loved my time there and this moment, with the sun setting was so serene and peaceful. (And cold!)

Day 20: Bowling

Today was a fun day. Tomorrow is my sister’s birthday and we went out with a group of her friends bowling today. Lets just say…. I suck at bowling. Bowling and I…. well, lets just say the gutters and I are really good friends. To the point that even the bowling ally employees recommended me using bumpers next time I went bowling… Talk about making me feel like I really sucked at it.

I enjoyed myself regardless. Bowling and sports just aren’t my thing. I’ve never been very coordinated when it came to physical sports.

Tonight, we’ve been doing a movie night and watched Friends With Benefits. Now we’re watching Ides of March. Seems like an interesting movie thus far.

Sorry if the writing seems a little forced tonight, I’ve been dealing with another migraine and I am hoping it goes away soon.

Day 19: Geeky

This is going to be a short one today as I am swamped with homework and sporting one heck of a headache.

I am a geek. I love to play computer games, my favorite TV series is a tie between Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica and Dr. Who. Making computer software do the things I want is a fun past time for me. I was a guild officer in WOW and had several high level characters. I honestly still wish I played wow… but with school and life, I dont’ have the time these days.
