Update RE: Sadness

I know that at least one of my readers voiced their concerns regarding calling the police and child protective services regarding the parent I overheard verbally abusing their child.  Unfortunately, due to not being able to identify what household it was coming from, this wasn’t an option for me.  However, this weekend, after such an occurrence happened again, the police did show up, as well as what looked to be someone from child protective services.  A parent was arrested and a child (little girl) was removed from one of the apartments here in my complex.  From the crying of the child and the yelling of the adult, I am pretty sure these are the same individuals who I heard last week.

This little girl has been on my mind all week and I have been praying to the gods for her protection and safety.  I can only hope that the system will do right by her and give her that protection and safety somehow.

Just a quicky

Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know there there will be a more thought out post regarding some posts on a couple of other blogs I read that were related towards one another.  I would of loved to have written the post tonight, but I had two papers and some discussions that were due today that I had to complete since my class is over after today and you can’t turn in late work past the end of the class.  If all goes well, should end the class with something around a 92 %.  So look out for the post that will be incoming by the end of the week.
